St. Columb Minor Church
St. Columb Minor Church is situated in the heart of the village of St. Columb Minor. It is dedicated to St. Columba and looks down over the Rialton Valley. The present church dates from the 15th Century, however places of worship were present before this date. The church is heavily involved with local schools, groups and charities.
St. Columb Minor Church desires to promote the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelical, social and gecumenical. The church aims to meet the spiritual needs of the community by being the centre of worship and promoting the Christian Gospel of loving support and meaningful reconsiliation throughout the parish.
Regular Services and Events
Every Sunday at 7:45 AM for ½ hour
A family service, suitable for any age, with sunday club for under 11's
Every first second third and fourth Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
a sort of nine lessons and carols for every week of the year, based on the season or day. Ranging from of course a vigil for Holy week to a Vigil for the poet Studdert Kennedy, better known as Woodbine Willy.
Every Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Twice monthly coffee, twice monthly meals for a nominal fee. Light hearted friendly atmosphere, plenty of laughter, sing alongs, outings and restaurant meals

Every Wednesday at 11:00 AM for 2 hours
Prayers for the Sick
An informal, reflective quiet service where the sick of the parish and the world are prayed for.
Every Wednesday at 6:45 PM for 20 minutes
Short Mat Bowls
a very informal fun evening together for those who like short mat bowls or those who want to find out more. (Serious competitors may be disappointed). Beginners always welcome, for one week at least they make us look good!
Every Wednesday at 7:30 PM for 1½ hours
Littlies Corner Parent Toddler Group
Littley's corner is for toddlers and their parents to experience the first tentative steps of socialisation within an informal atmosphere. Please bring a piece of fruit and a pound.
